We believe all students can be academically motivated and successful while maintaining a healthy social life. We are confident that an active social life and extra-curricular activities are keys to developing and following your life purpose.
Fit & Focused uses research based coaching strategies to help high school and college students maximize their academic potential.
Weekly coaching sessions help students create a plan and follow through to achieve their goals by maximizing motivation, minimizing procrastination and improving organization. Coaching can make student internships more effective and productive by cultivating emotional intelligence skills to enhance interpersonal communication, build trust, and develop stress management strategies. Our research based methods address the needs of students with ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and learning differences.
“I was not sure if I wanted to attend college before I met Steve. My grades and SATs were not the best. I thought that I would not be able to receive the real college experience. I also considered taking a year off after college, but I knew that this would take me off track to my life goals. Steve made it clear that college was still within possibilities for me, he had me looking up various schools that were appropriate. After working with Steve for several months I was accepted to Adam state University with a $5,000 scholarship. I’d like to thank you once again for the work you have put into me and for the push to apply to the college.”
